An update for the Council in regards to the funeral arrangements for Msgr. Wagner, and Sir Knight Bill Witham are listed below.
Msgr. Wagner’s memorial funeral mass by the Archdiocese will be held next Monday, February 4, at noon, at St. Mathew’s Church. Father Wagner will be memorialized along with Father Goertz and 3 other priests who recently went to be with our Lord.
If you are able to attend, it would be great if you can wear your blue Knights of Columbus shirt. We will try to sit together, but I’m sure that this will be a very crowded memorial service.
Thank you in advance for making an effort to attend to pay our last respects to our great former KOC Chaplin.
arrangements for our Brother, and Sir Knight Bill Witham.
Sir Knight Bill Witham will have a rosary Sunday, February 17th at 3:00pm at SEAS. I would ask for all brothers to wear their blue Knights of Columbus shirts.
The funeral Mass will be Monday, February 18th at 10:00am. The Knights will host the reception to follow in the Marron Center. We will need some help setting up prior to the funeral as well.
As you all know, the Knights were very important to Bill and they were a big part of his life. He and Ernie Murphy are the reason Council 14690 exists. So let’s make him proud and have a great turn out at both the rosary and the Mass.
Most likely we will have a 4th degree color guard for the rosary. Bill was a member of Assembly 3417, but for any of you Sir Knights that belong to any other Assembly, and would like to be involved please let Michael Sullivan know.
May God bless you and your families!
