While many of you will have heard by now, I wanted to pass along an email about the loss of two of our dear, fellow Knights that have gone to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
It is with sadness that I inform our Council that Monsignor Wagner was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, 26 January. As all those that knew him are aware, Monsignor Wagner was ready to journey to his Heavenly home and be united with Jesus and all of his family and friends that had gone before him. His guardian angel has now assisted with Monsignor Wagner’s last wish.
Monsignor Wagner had been involved with the Knights of Columbus for more than seventy years, as well as being active with the SEAS Catholic Daughters.
Heaven truly received another angel with Monsignor Wagner’s passing!
Timing for the Monsignor Wagner’s rosary and funeral services have not yet been communicated to the Council, but once we are informed, an email update will be sent out so that we can pay our last respects properly.
Additionally, our Council had another loss over the weekend. Bill Witham was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, 27 January. He has gone to be with Jesus and all of his family and friends that had gone before him. All those that knew Bill will be aware that he was very active in the Knights of Columbus and SEAS ACTS. He was one of our Council’s past Grand Knights and always supported the Knights in any way that he could. Please keep Bill’s wife, Christina, and their family in your prayers during this difficult time.
Currently, we do not know the timing for Bill Witham’s rosary and funeral services. As soon as they are available, an email update will be sent to the Council so that we can pay our last respects properly and show Christina how much Bill meant to our Council.
May Monsignor Wagner and Bill Witham’s souls, and the souls of the faithfully departed Rest in Peace, AMEN!
